APRIL 18 IS NEIGHBORFEST!!
On Sunday April 18 members
of CHPC will reach out in Christ's love to serve our neighbors. After
worship and lunch our members will go out to a variety of projects in the
community to help our neighbors. Projects such as yardwork, light building
repairs, painting, visiting, computer help, etc. have been solicited.
After our time of work
we'll come together in Fellowship Hall for dinner and to share our
experiences and pictures of the day.
MISSION OUTREACH AT CHPC:
Members of Camp Hill Presbyterian Church share
their talents, time, and gifts through Hands-on Mission projects and
monetary contributions. They participate with other churches through
Mission
At The Eastward to renovate houses for families in need of housing, help feed the hungry by
participating in Downtown Daily Bread and giving to the Food Pantry.
CHPC is a partner in mission with
Christ Lutheran Church
in Allison Hill - and serves as property maintenance committee to keep up CLC's building which houses the Holy Spirit Medical Outreach Clinic, a super
youth group, and other ministries in the poorest section of Harrisburg.
Our Quilters & Crafters for Mission make
sweaters and "binkies" and collect blankets for those who need a
warm covering. The Deacons host Christmas Gift Giving parties for children during the advent season.
The church also collects and donates
eye glasses to those who need improved sight, and sponsor events to raise
money for a variety of national and international programs and projects that
help the world beyond our congregation.
CHPC members also
participate in disaster response relief through
Lend-a-Hand with the
Presbytery of Carlisle.
